The NEC is the national executive and management body of JEF Ireland.
Robert has been active in national and European politics and youth work for over ten years, working with organizations such as ERYCIA, Erasmus, ISSU, Comhairle, Eurobug, Youth Work Ireland and much more. A graduate of Maynooth University in Law & Finance, he currently works in the financial services sector.
Robert believes that a strong democratic European Federation is the best way to ensure social and economic equality for all the peoples of Europe and promote a more progressive global society.
Liam has been working in the media industry since 2017 and more recently has developed a keen interest in European Federalism and fostering greater links between the national broadcasters in the European member states. He hopes to see JEF Ireland take a prominent role in JEF Europe and sees it as an excellent opportunity to drive progressive change in the EU.
Sorcha Ní Chonaighle
Sorcha is a recent graduate of Dublin City University and now works as a teacher in Dublin. Is cainteoir dúchais í Sorcha. She has been active in European youth politics since 2018 and has a strong interest in the relationships between member states and fostering a common European identity. She sees JEF Ireland as an initiative which young people can connect with and hopes the section will become prominent in JEF Europe during the term.
Ben Ryan
Ben is a UCC graduate in International Development and Food Policy. He has been working in communications since 2017 and has increasingly become involved in political activity. He spent a year working in political communications in Brussels before returning to Ireland to work in Leinster House. He has been active in European youth politics and Irish youth politics since 2020 and has worked to improve bilateral and multilateral relationships between similar youth organisations across Europe.
Josh is a Media Studies and Politics student at Dublin City University. He has been politically active from a young age and has been involved in projects such as Comhairle na nÓg (Local youth council). More recently he has been involved in activism on issues such as Sex Education in schools and Commuters interests.
Adam Lambe
Caolán is a student of Atlantic Technological University and works as a Software Developer in Monaghan. He has been active in European youth politics and Irish youth politics since 2020 and has a strong interest in the relationships between member states and fostering a common European identity. He sees JEF Ireland as an initiative which young people can connect with and hopes that JEF Ireland can relate the opportunity for Ireland to strengthen its cyber-security infrastructure and help develop a preventative healthcare system along with europes.
James is a youth activist and IT specialist from Kildare. He has worked in a number or organisations in events and IT roles. He is passionate about technology and science policy.
Hi there. My name is James Joy and I'm JEF Ireland's International Officer. I'm living in Cork City and have been passionate about the European Project and further integration since I participated in the European Youth Parliament as a secondary school student. Over the coming years I hope to further the links between JEF Ireland and other JEF sections as well as representing our organisation abroad as best I can.
Adam Lambe is a passionate youth activist who is particularly interested in issues of education and youth participation on a European scale. Adam has represented Ireland at 3 consecutive EU Youth Conferences and intervened at an Informal Meeting of Ministers of Education and Youth. Adam is also a trainer with the Council of Europe and the Organising Bureau of European School Student Unions working with student activists on an european level. Adam has taken two consecutive gap years to work in youth politics, firstly as Deputy President of the ISSU and continuing with Eurodesk, NYCI and Plan International.
Éamon O’Flynn
Éamonn is an environmental chemistry student in UCD. He loves everything European, especially Eurovision! He has been active in politics since 2017 and interested in politics from a young age and is particularly passionate about environmental, transport and security issues. He believes that the best path for all of us in this changed world is a united Europe that will help us achieve a progressive and sustainable world.
